ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – The Dave Matthews band has some fresh beats, but they also prefer fresh food before they take the stage.

'So this morning it started here, you filled the order and then like Ants Marching, off it went to the amphitheater?' asks Patrick Clark.

'Yes,' laughs Mike Block the General Manager for Greenbean Missouri

The Grammy winner likes his green beans, or at least Greenbean Delivery.

The Indianapolis based business caters to customers preferring fresh food from local farms and vendors... and so to, does Mr. Matthews.

'Dave Matthews Band they ordered Giesert Farms, which is our pork provider,' says Block.  'He's out of Washington, Missouri from over a century old family that's been raising pork for four generations.'

Greenbean Missouri has been in O'Fallon, Missouri for only five months.

But everyday they fill orders for local customers wanting organic fruits and veggies.

'It's a farmer's market on wheels in the sense that we source as much from the local farmers and then also offer organic and natural foods coupled with that and we deliver it to your door,' says Block.

Or to the Verizon Wireless amphitheater where caterers that tour with the band will prepare the Missouri based meals that also included cheeses from Heartland Creamery and fresh food from Buttonwood farms out of California, Missouri and Companion bread

'The mission of Greenbean delivery is to make local and healthy food convenient and accessible to the community we served,' says Block.

'Do what your Mom told you, eat your vegetables,' says Clark.

'Yes listen to your mother and your father too.
