WEST ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The union representing drivers for Metro buses and trains handed out fliers Friday. On one side, the flier thanked the public for using Metro buses and trains. On the other, the flier says Metro lies.

Officials with the Amalgamated Transit Union Local Chapter 788 said they wanted to set the record straight about a warning from Metro CEO John Nations.

Nations had said earlier this month that the drivers could strike during the Fair St. Louis weekend. But the union president says those words were just scare tactics to frighten passengers that use Metro.
