Police looking for suspect stealing from gym lockers

ST. PETERS, MO. (KTVI) – Police in St. Peters are the lookout for a man suspected of stealing a wallet from a gym locker.  On Saturday, June 13th a man working out at the Gold’s Gym on Highway 94, contacted the St. Peters about his wallet being stolen from his locker, while he was working out.

The victim stated that he had locked his belongings in a locker securely.  When he finished his workout, he found that his lock, keys and wallet missing.

Upon contacting his credit card company, he learned that someone had made an $800 purchase at a local Target and attempted to make another large purchase, before being asked for identification.

Police believe the suspect maybe connected to other similar thefts at gyms in Arnold and Maryland Heights.

The suspect is described as a heavy set black male, age 32-45 years, around 6 feet tall, with facial hair.
