Wife allegedly cleans knife after stabbing husband to death

TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (KTVI)-- Police say the Town and Country woman who stabbed her husband to death, tampered with evidence.

Police say 69-year-old Mary Mullenix stabbed her husband then washed the blood off of the knife.  Mullenix now faces three felony charges, including 2nd degree murder.

Town and Country police responded to the exclusive gated community just before midnight Wednesday.  The victim, Ivan Mullenix, was a successful real estate developer.

His wife Mary is locked up with a bond of a half a million dollars.
