Dave murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For friday…July 26, 2013.

*** a cool front rolling over the region on friday and friday evening…A little moisture to play with…Then on the way to a rather cool weekend for the last weekend of july…What a difference from last summer***

Mostly cloudy skies…A touch more humid with a few shwoers…Maybe a thundershower…Limited rain
Winds: southeast 5-15 m.P.H.
High: 83 degrees

Friday night:

Partly cloudy..A few shwoers and thudnershowers…Again limited rain
Winds: northwest 5-10 m.P.H.
Low: 62 degrees.

Saturday and sunday:

Partly to mostly sunny skies and on the cool side for this time of year
Winds: northwest 5-15 m.P.H.
High: 80 degrees.

A little more unsettled and more humid getting into early next week

The weather disco:

A weak cool front passing by friday and friday night…Not a lot of moisture to work with…But enough to squeeze out a few showers and thundershowers…Friday and friday evening…The core focus…Southwest and northeast of metro stl…But a little rain in our picture. The weekend is still looking amazing for this time of year…Sunshine in control with daytime highs struggling to reach 80 degrees…And night time lows near 60…And that would make it near record lows for the stl area. Again..A major shift from last summer…When we had 8 record highs in the month of july. Next week…More humid and little more unsettled as the dome of summer tries to come back into the picture…But it will be a slow process…No extreme heat in sight

Also…Our weather watcher…Bill from french village passed away on wednesday…83 years old…Bill was a wonderful guy and called everyday…Exactly at 4 each afternoon…You could set the clock by him…Had a nice talk with his daughter…He will be missed here at fox 2 and our thoughts and prayers are with bill’s family.
