Dave murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For wednesday…August 7, 2013.

*** still no major changes in the unsettled weather pattern for the next few days…Some hope for the weekend***

Wednesday:

Clouds control…Fading rain and thunderstorms in the morning…Warm and humid
Winds: south to northwest 5-10 m.P.H.
High: 88 degrees

Wednesday night:

Clouds…Mild…Limited if any rain
Winds: north 5-10 m.P.H.
Low: 70 degrees.

Thursday and friday:

Unsettled…Clouds in place…Periods of rain and some storms…Humid
Winds: south 5-15 m.P.H.
High: 85 degrees.

Better for the weekend…Drier air..Partly sunny skies and in the mid 80’s

The weather disco:

Its the same old story here…The pattern is stuck with fronts dropping down in the northwest flow…Then getting stuck and waving around…Not much change in the overall pattern for several days…The large scale set up…We are caught in-between the two main flows of this summer…The big, hot dome of high pressure…Now expanding over the southern u.S. And that northwest flow…We are a little closer to the northwest flow and that will allow several fronts to work in from the north and then get stuck over the bi-state region…Each time a front works in and waves around we will see showers and storms…Some big rains at times for some…Still no big heat in sight for this week and thinking we get thru next week too…Some signs of a shot of heat after the 20th of august
