Baby who served as parents’ best man dies

(KTVI) – The little boy who gained national attention when he served as the best man in his parents’ wedding over the weekend has died.  That’s according to the mother’s Facebook page.

Christine Swidorsky said Logan passed away just after 8 p.m. Monday.  On Saturday, 2-year-old Logan was dressed in a tan suit with an orange shirt and looked on as his parents exchanged marriage vows at a backyard wedding.

The couple had planned to marry in July 2014 but that was before they learned Logan had just weeks to live.

Logan suffered from leukemia, brought on by a genetic disorder Fanconi anemia.

Christine Swidorsky carried Logan down the aisle. His grandmother cradled her in his arms, his favorite brown teddy bear by his side.

On Monday, Christine posted this message on Facebook:

“Today Logan was doing very bad his breathing was very rapid then slowing down I called hospice to come and she checked him out and she said he’s probably gonna pass Sean and I held him all day he was comfortable with his medication then at 8:18 my son took his last breath in my arms Logan passed away im so sad upset and im in disbelief he is with angels and he’s in no more pain.no more sickness no more hospitals.we love all of u for all your prayers thank u all for caring god bless u all! And most of all god bless Logan I’ll c u in my dreams my son.”
