CLEVELAND, OH – The House of Horrors, where three women were held for a decade, was torn down this morning in Cleveland.

The bank responsible for the demolition is planning to shred all the building materials so nothing can be sold online.

One of Ariel Castro's victims, Michelle Knight was there releasing balloons in honor of other missing children.

“ Nobody was there for me when I was missing and I want the people out there to know including the mothers that they can have strength, they can have hope and their child will come back,” said Knight.

Last week 53 year-old Ariel Castro was sentenced to life in prison plus one thousand years as part of a deal that spared him a possible death sentence.
