Yoga event hopes to “Rise and Shine” for a cure

(KTVI)-Yoga instructors will be banding together next weekend for Rise and Shine for a Cure, a benefit for St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.  Instructors will guide participants through the series of the yoga postures that make up the sun salutation.

Six gift baskets will also be raffled off.

The event is Sunday, August 25, at the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.  It runs from 9am-Noon. The cost is $35 until 5 p.m. Friday, August 23. After that, online registration will close and you'll be able to register at the door for $40.
