Dave Murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For Wednesday..August 21, 2013.

*** The summer-time air mass is in place…typical summer heat this week…more hard core summer heat next week…vegetation getting very, very dry***

***My fall forecast for STL will be Wednesday…August 28, 2013 at 9pm on fox 2***

Wednesday:

Partly sunny and warm…humid…
Winds: Southwest 5-15 m.p.h.
High: 90 degrees.

Wednesday night:

Partly cloudy and mild.
Winds: southwest 5-10 m.p.h.
Low: 70 degrees

Thursday:

Partly sunny and warm…humid
Winds: southwest 5-15 m.p.h.
High: 92 degrees.

THE WEATHER DISCO:

The summer feel…but nothing extreme…back in place the rest of the week and the weekend…warm and humid…daytime highs near 90 degrees…the key–night lows will be about 70 so the big cool of the last 10 days is now out of the picture. There are signs that next week will be hotter as the dome of summer from the southwest keeps shifting north and east….looking at highs 95-96 degrees. There will be a little cool front…that turns into a back-door cool front late thursday night and early friday…maybe a spot thunderstorm…east/northeast of metro stl. Not a lot of energy to work with…overall…a dry weather pattern.
