ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A fuel tank driver was robbed Tuesday morning in South St. Louis.  It happened around 4:30 a.m. at a Phillips 66 gas station on South Broadway and Interstate 55 that was closed at the time.

The driver was making a delivery when he was approached by three men, one wearing a mask and armed with a handgun.

They robbed the driver and took personal items and ransacked his truck. Police believe the robbers took off on foot and brought in a canine to look for him.

The driver was not hurt.
