(KTVI) - Just last week, a list was revealed which compiled FBI data and the number of violent crimes in cities with 25,000 people or more. St. Louis landed at #8 on that list.

The data said you have a 1 in 10 chance of being a victim of violent crime.  Many people want change and that's what the St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson and St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch are talking about.

They're partnering with Better Family Life on Sunday, August 25th to promote peace in the community.

PeaceFest 2013 - August 25th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Central Field in Forest Park.  Participants will enjoy dancing, kid's activities, singing competitions and, of course, a softball games.
