TOKYO, JAPAN-- When you think of superheroes, this guy probably won't come to mind, but the people he helps are thankful for his help.

Each day he dresses up as a super-hero and helps mothers carry their strollers down the stairs to a subway station in Tokyo.

The man works at a nearby grocery store and says he got the idea after hearing women complain about access to the trains.

He says he decided to dress up as a character from a popular television show to do his good deeds because he's shy.
