Westbound Daniel Boone Bridge traffic to be closed Sept. 7th & 8th

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KTVI) – MoDOT will be closing the Daniel Boone Bride on Sept. 7 and eighth for its biannual bridge inspection.

The westbound traffic on I-64 will closed Saturday, Sept. 7 from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday Sept. 8.

Eastbound traffic on the bridge will be unaffected for that weekend.

Lane closures will start at 10 a.m., Saturday, with work crews shutting down the ramps a chesterfield valley going westbound. At 11 a.m., lanes between Boone’s Crossing and the bridge will be closed.

Motorists are urged to plan ahead and use alternate routes that weekend of Sept. 7 and eighth.

MoDOT is advising motorist going to the Mizzou Football game in Columbia, to leave earlier than usual Saturday.
