(KTVI) - A word to the wise -- if you overpay for your weed, don't call 911 to complain about it.

Earlier this month, Arlene Stark, 54, of North St. Louis called 911 to complain she paid her drug dealer too much for marijuana.  According to the Post-Dispatch, she said she'd been scammed and was looking for consumer protection.

When police arrived at her home, they took her complaint and then took her to jail.  She was charged with misusing 911 and is now free on $1,000 bond.

In an unrelated story, another Missouri woman made a "not-so-smart" move over drugs as well.  Rhonda Casteel, 47, of Springfield, allegedly tried to hide her stash of meth in the back seat of a police patrol car.

It happened as she was being arrested on unrelated charges. Casteel could face up to 15 years in prison.
