More evidence of chemical weapon use in Syria
(CNN) — Evidence of another deadly chemical weapons attack in Syria has surfaced, opposition activists said Friday.
Seven people diedand dozens were injured Monday in the attack on a school in northern Syria.
This comes as the United States considers military action against the Bashar al-Assad regime after what was thought to be August 21 chemical weapons attack on the outskirts of Damascus.
Activist videos in the Orroum al-Kubra village of Aleppo province show people with severe burns but no other external injuries.
Some people reported hearing nothing before chemicals started to burn them.
“it’s like they used chemicals, like napalm or something,” a doctor at a local hospital who confirmed the casualties said. “It’s causing a lot of burns.”
CNN has not be able to independently confirm what happened there.
