Reason behind jet lag discovered

(KTVI) – A new study has uncovered the gene responsible for jet lag.  The discovery could potentially pave the way for a drug that can shut it down.

A person’s internal clock can only adjust by one hour every day.  So if you are in a time zone with a six hour difference, it’ll take you six days to adjust.
