Flags to fly at half-staff Thursday for fallen soldier

(KTVI) – Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has ordered all flags at state buildings to be flown at half-staff Thursday.  It’s in honor of a soldier who died on the front lines.

Funeral services are Thursday for Private First Class Jonathon Hostetter of Humphreys, Missouri.

The 20-year-old was killed August 23 when an improvised explosive device exploded while he was on patrol in Afghanistan.
