Cardinals activate Westbrook from DL

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The St. Louis Cardinals have activated right-handed pitcher Jake Westbrook from the 15-day disabled list. He will be on the team’s active roster for Friday’s series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Westbrook went on the disabled list August 22 with a lower back strain. His record this season is 7-8 with a 4.49 ERA in 19 games (18 starts).
