ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Fast-food chain ‘Jack In The Box’ will pay out more than 20 million dollars to a St. Louis man badly beaten in a parking lot. The Post-Dispatch reports it happened three years ago at the Gravois road location.

Ali Aziz, now 20,  was critically injured when a fight broke out. He was beaten so severely that he still can’t walk or feed himself. Aziz claimed the restaurant failed to prevent the fight and a jury agreed. Four people involved in the beating are now in jail.

A ‘Jack In The Box’ spokesman says the company may appeal the ruling.
