Police: Suspects stole alcohol, hurt store employee in O’Fallon, Mo

ShopnsaverobberyO’FALLON, MO (KTVI) – Police are looking for two people who allegedly stole several bottle of alcohol from a grocery store and injured a store employee.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon at the Shop ‘n Save store on Mexico Loop Road.  Authorities say a male and female took five bottles of alcohol, bagged them and attempted to leave the store without paying.

When a store employee tried to stop them, a struggle began and the employee was hurt. Both the male and female suspects left. Authorities says the female was last seen leaving the area in a white van.   The male ran away on foot.
The male suspect is described as a white male, 6-feet tall, average build, with close shaved hair. He was wearing a red shirt with light colored pants and black and white tennis shoes.

The woman is described as a white female, 5-foot-2 inches tall, with a thick build, and long dark hair. She was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt.  The van she left in was described as a white conversion van with two horizontal stripes.
