Illini Pounds Cincinnati 45-17, Off to 2-0 Start

Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase threw four touchdown passes for the second consecutive week to lead the Illini to a 45-17 thrashing of Cincinnati on Saturday in Champaign. The Illini built a 21-0 first half lead and cruised to the win at Memorial Stadium. Scheelhaase threw for 312 yards and the aforementioned four TD’s. Ryan Lankford and Donovonn Young also ran for scores for Illinois, who improve to 2-0 on the young season.
