March to the Arch will honor POW’s and MIA’s

(KTVI)- Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 611 is hosting the 28th annual March to the Arch, in remembrance of all POWs and MIAs from Missouri and Illinois. The events start with a reading of the names of all POWs and MIAs at Soldier’s Memorial downtown. Then the group marches to the Arch where a ceremonial wreath will be released into the Mississippi River.

The march is Saturday, September 21 at 11:00am. It starts at Soldiers Memorial (13th and Chestnut). Participants are asked to arrive early.
