(KTVI)-The ABC Brigade is a group of survivors, their families, and professionals who are committed to education in both the prevention of stroke as well as educating stroke survivors and their families about life after a stroke.

To raise awareness and money, a local stroke survivor started the Stampede For Stroke, a 5K/1Mi run/walk. Everyone from competitive runners to relaxed walkers are invited.  Stroke survivors are encouraged to come out and run, walk, or roll.

This year’s Stampede For Stroke is Sunday, September 29, at 9:00am at Tower Grove Park.  The cost is $10.00 for survivors and $20.00 for other participants.   Tech t-shirt guaranteed to all participants who register by September 22.
