(KTVI) - A St. Louis County man is behind bars, accused of molesting and sodomizing a young girl.  Now police want to know if there are any other victims.

Authorities arrested Derrick Lowery, 50, of the 5300 block of Englewood Place.  According to police, Lowery was acquainted with the victim's family. The girl is under the age of ten.

Police were notified after witnesses came forward.

Lowery is charged with six counts of first degree Statutory Sodomy and four counts of first degree Child Molestation.  He is currently jailed on $150,000 bond.

Lowery lives in a gated community just north of Interstate 70 and Lucas and Hunt. Authorities believe Lowery may have been in contact with other children and possibly tried to make sexual contact with another child.

Grant Rummerfield is a detective in the St. Louis County Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit.  Rummerfield said, “I would urge parents that recognize the suspect or know the suspect to talk to their children if the suspect has been around their children just to make sure that he hasn’t been doing this to others.”

The St. Louis County Police are asking anyone who may be a victim or know of any possible victims of Lowery to come forward and callpolice at 314/889-2341 or Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
