ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Fair St. Louis won’t be held on the Arch grounds next year.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Independence Day celebration could possibly shift to Forest Park.

The festivities may be centered around the Grand Basin with Art Hill at the epicenter.

The reason for the move is a $380 million plan to revamp the Gateway Arch area.

The work will be done between now and October 2015.
