Woman stabbed with Butcher’s knife for leaning on a car

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A 28-year-old female victim is in a hospital after being repeatedly stabbed in the back for leaning on a car.  The incident began Saturday night in the 200 block of east John street in north St. Louis shortly before 7:30 pm.

An argument broke out between the victim another woman, who was a family member of the suspect.  The suspect used a butcher’s knife to stab the victim in the back.

The suspect also stabbed herself several times and cut some of her fingers while attacking the victim.  A witness tried to break-up the attack. Both women were transported to hospitals.

Warrants are expected to be issued, as the investigation continues.
