Two arrested in Shrelia Barnes murder investigation

(KTVI) – The St. Louis County Police say two men have been taken into custody as suspects in the murder of a 31-year-old St. Louis County woman.

Shrelia Barnes was stabbed several times and found in the area of Chambers and Duke in Moline Acres early Sunday morning.  She was dropped off at Christian Northeast Hospital around 3:00 a.m.  by two people before she died.

Authorities say one of the individuals who took her at the hospital returned to talk to investigators. That person told police the stabbing allegedly happened during an argument between Barnes and the men arrested by St. Louis County Police.

The argument was allegedly over money.   Police say warrants have been issuedand the suspects could face murder charges.
