EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) - East St. Louis police are looking for two suspects in Thursday afternoon's murder of a beauty salon owner.

Abdul Al-Hakim was shot and killed outside Royale Beauty Supplies, the company the 52-year-old immigrant opened when he moved here from Yemen.

Al-Hakim leaves behind eight children.

Police are hoping security camera video from a business next door might help their investigation.

if the murderers turn out to be black, then this is a HATE CRIME. I hope people of Middle Eastern descent will march in the streets, protesting black thugs killing a Middle Eastern man. But, if they march in East St. Louis, they too will be beaten, robbed, and murdered. I’m sure 60 Minutes will be all over this.

Scott, most likely since the business was in E. STL, the murders are black. Yes, 60 minutes should be all over this, but they won’t, nobody want to cross that line and say where the real problems stem from.
