ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A pedal proposal to bring 100 miles of better bike trails to St. Louis City.

Great Rivers Greenway and the city are working together to improve the bicycle routes. On Thursday, they will present the plans for phase three of the bike St. Louis Project. It calls for an additional 40 miles of on-street bike routes. It would also upgrade 60 miles of the existing network.

There will also be additional signage and six bicycle parking corrals throughout the city. The open house will be held tonight from 4:30 to 7pm at the Forest Park Visitors Center.
