CHESTERFIELD, MO (KTVI) – Police in Chesterfield say thieves are already joining the big crowds hitting the new outlet malls in the valley. Chesterfield police are looking for your help in finding three men who took part in what they call a “grab and run.”

It was September 1st  when they showed up at the St. Louis premium outlet mall and began scoping out the Saks Off Fifth location.  At some point police say they grabbed all they could and sprinted out of the store.  The items taken were worth about $4000, and included purses and jeans. They sped away in a black Chevy Impala.

Police say there have been other similar thefts around chesterfield that may be related.

If you recognize any of these men or have any information, contact Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS(8477).

Oh well, guess we can’t expect to go out to these malls and feel safe, either. Didn’t take them long, did it? We think about a new place to shop while they think about a new place to pillage. Then it turns into a place where no decent people would go. Then the only stores left are the stores that cater only to the “element”. Then we’ve got another hundred acres of wasteland and closed businesses. Look at Northwest Plaza and see if this could be history repeating itself.

Look @ “St. Louis Mills” Didn’t take them long to take over that. Now all we have is empty stores. People used to drive 50 miles plus to shop there. Now they can’t even pull people from St. Charles County.
