ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– A water main break on Clark Street right in front of the police department could have been a traffic nightmare Wednesday night.

With the Cardinals at Busch and the Blues just down the road at the Scottrade Center traffic on that section of Clark is very busy.

Water crews managed to get the break repaired and steel plates placed over the hole before things got too bad.

They’ll come back and fill the hole and fix the street later.

Clear reason the City needs the ticket tax revenue more than the wealthy owners of the Cardinals & Blues. So, get the money. Fix your pipes, your streets, sidewalks, BEFORE a Blues or Cardinals fan disappears in a hole in the pavement.
