Beltran’s Hit Wins Game 1 of NLCS in 13 Innings

(KTVI)-Carlos Beltran drove in all three runs in the Cardinals 3-2  thirteen inning win in Game One of the NLCS with the Dodgers. Beltran's third RBI of the game was a ringing double down the line in right field that scored Daniel Descalso with the winning run, ending the marathon game early Saturday morning at Busch Stadium.

Beltran had earlier tied the game at 2-2 with a two run double off the wall in right-center field in the third inning. The win give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead in the best of seven National League Championship Series.

Game Two of this series is Saturday afternoon at Busch Stadium with rookie Michael Wacha pitching for the Cardinals against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw.
