Man stabbed interrupting car theft

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A 21-year-old man is in stable condition at a local hospital, after being stabbed in the shoulder after interrupting a car theft.  The victim told St. Louis police he confronted a man attempting to break into a car  in front of his home Sunday night just after 9 pm.

In the ensuing struggle, the suspect stabbed the victim in the shoulder.

The suspect is described as being medium height, in his 20’s, wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

Police are looking for the suspect.
