FENTON, MO (KTVI)-- Jefferson County Sheriff’s detectives say at 11:30 Tuesday night a man robbed the Circle K at Highway PP in High Ridge. He walked in and demanded money. The clerk said no and he then pointed a gun at the clerk and made a second demand. He was denied and left. Then at 2am he entered the Steak- n- Shake at the 1100 block of Gravois in Fenton and demanded money again. He was denied and fled on foot. Jefferson County Sheriff`s Captain Ronald Arnhart says the crimes can escalate.

“We are very fortunate that no one was injured in any of these incidents. The big thing is to be vigilant with the area. The victims were helpful as far as giving a description and that`s another important factor in situations like this is to be a good witness,” said Arnhart.

The suspect is described as a white male 5’6” to 5’10” about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a black leather jacket hat and, gloves along with a red shirt. Police say he fled on foot and targeted stores at low activity times.
