Police looking for suspect involved in related attempted robberies

HIGH RIDGE, MO (KTVI) – Police are looking for a suspect involved in two related robberies.

A Circle K was the target of an attempted robbery on Tuesday in High Ridge Missouri at around 11:30pm. A suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from the register. The gas station employee refused two times. The suspect fled the scene.

On Wednesday at around 2am employees at a Fenton Steak n Shake told police that they had been the target of an attempted robbery. A man came in demanding money from the register. The suspect left the restaurant after his demands were denied twice by an employee. The employee noticed the man was armed as he was leaving the scene.

The suspect was described in both attempted robberies as a white male. He is 5’6″-5’10” tall and weighs 130-140 pounds. He wore dark clothing and a bandana to conceal his face.

Police believe the incidents are related based on the descriptions of the incidents, time frame and the descriptions given of the suspect.
