ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  Well, the  final play of World Series game 3 is appreciated by Cardinals fans and despised by those rooting for the Red Sox.

The Cardinals’ Allen Craig was trying to run past Boston Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks to score in the 9th inning.  While rounding third base Craig fell over.  The umpire called obstruction on Middlebrooks causing the Cards to score.  That call clinched the game for the Cards.
