Police shooting GPS tracking bullets to cut down on chases

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Bullets are now going high techand it could cut down on police pursuits.   

Police are now able to shoot a GPS tracking bullet from the front of their car onto the trunk of a suspect`s vehicle. The aim is to cut down on the need for police pursuits which can be dangerous and sometimes deadly.

All police have to do is hit a button inside their vehicleand a tracking bullet shoots out from the police cruiser’s grill.  police are then able to track the car at normal speeds.
