FAIRMONT CITY, IL (KTVI)-- A disturbing case is under investigation in Fairmont City that apparently revolves around a freshman high school girl, a group of boys, alcohol and a sexual attack. The alleged incident happened Saturday night. Collinsville School District officials said they are cooperating with police, the exact details are unclear, and no one has been charged.

According to various reports, there was a party at home in Fairmount City Saturday night and a freshman girl from Collinsville High School got drunk and was sexually attacked by a group of boys.  Supposedly the boys took video and photos of the incident.

The superintendent Dr. Robert Green said he doesn’t think the video has appeared on the internet and school officials have been checking students’ cell phones that are suspect. Collinsville police said Fairmont City detectives interviewed male students from the high school Wednesday.  Dr. Green also said the district offered the girl counseling.  People and parents are disgusted by the alleged incident.

Charles Sweet said, “It’s not right it’s not right at all for them to do it.”  Malcolm Anderson has children in the school district, he said, “It’s sad that it happened to a young lady if what these gentlemen are accused of happened, but in all honesty go back to their homes their parents.”
