Police looking for Main Street St. Charles robbery suspect

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) - Police are looking for a man who robbed a woman near Main Street on Tuesday evening.

The victim parked her car in the rear of 200 N. Main Street at around 7:20pm on Tuesday. When she got of the vehicle she recognized the man standing in front of her. He had just been standing behind her in line at a gas station 10 minutes earlier. He asked her to give him all of her money. The suspect then grabbed her purse and threw her to the ground.

The victim's wallet fell out of the purse. The victim says the suspect grabbed it and then ran away. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
