Two charged in connection with Chase Park Plaza catering director’s murder

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Two men have been charged in connection with the murder of John Paulsen, 46.

Police say that Lorenzo Milton shot the victim in his car on Sunday July 21st at 3:30am. Paulson was parked on the 4200 block of Neosho in St. Louis City. The gunman’s brother also threatened to kill a witness in the case.

The two suspects then fled the scene on foot. Police found the victim sitting in his car.  He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm and chest.  They took him to the hospital where he died from his wounds.

According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch Lorenzo Milton’s brother, Ronald Milton, asked a woman identified in court documents as A.W. “if she was snitching on his brother.” Ronald Milton then “displayed a handgun and mused aloud about whether or not he should kill her.”

Lorenzo Milton, 22, has been charged with 2nd degree murder, 1st degree attempted robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.  Ronald Milton, 29, has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution.
