ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Would you know what to do if confronted by a killer at work? It’s almost unthinkable, but many police officers say you must have a plan. We’ll help you prepare with a series of special reports.

Beginning now, you can take the following online test to get ready. We’ll share your results at a later date.

Active shooter expert Nate McVicker believes in “Preparedness Through Training.”  He believes active and hands on training allows for your actions to be imbedded into your subconscious. Then, if terror strikes, McVicker says you’ll revert back to the training. He believes your response will be more ‘automatic.’ He says it’s much like the way we’ve practiced fire drills, which lead to our reactions becoming second nature. This test is based on McVicker’s research.
