SPRINGFIELD, IL (KTVI) – State lawmakers in Illinois ended the fall session without a resolution on the pension crisis.  They left Springfield on Thursday without any indication on when they plan to deal with the state’s 100-billion-dollar public pension debt.

It’s the worst-funded retirement system in the nation, giving Illinois the lowest credit rating in the country.
