(KTVI) – It has happened at three different Sports Authority stores in the Chicago area — criminal flash mobs.

You’ve probably heard of flash mobs as PR stunts and even proposals. But in Illinois surveillance cameras have been capturing flash mob robberies.   According to the Chicago Tribune, thieves have come into the store in a single file and pretend to browse.  Then they grab an entire rack of clothes and race out the door.

Sports Authority is offering a $5,000 reward to information leading to an arrest. There have been no arrests so far.
