ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - There was a dizzying world record attempt on Art Hill in Forest Park Saturday afternoon: the "Great Art Hill Barrel Roll."

For the past six years, Andrew Tessier, with the BarrelRollMan Organization, has been rolling around the world to raise money for Nurses for Newborns.

Saturday, volunteers tried to set the Guinness World Record for the most people to simultaneously somersault. And they did it! According to exactly 889 people rolled down Art Hill.

The previous record of 835 people was set in Switzerland in 2011.
