Oldest living American World War II veteran spends the day with Obama

WASHINGTON, DC – A Texas man, believed to be the oldest living American World War II veteran, got a special honor this Veterans Day. He got to meet President Obama!

Here you can see 107-year-old Richard Overton at the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. During the ceremony, President Obama spoke a few words about Overton’s service in the war.

Earlier in the day, Overton had breakfast with the President and Vice President.
