Less than 50,000 signed up for Obamacare

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Fewer than 50,000 people have successfuly signed up for insurance through the troubled, federal Healthcare.gov site. That’s less than one tenth of White House forecasts.

Department of Health and Human Services officials say they expect most enrollees to sign up later.

The federal healthcare exchange site has been marred by technical problems and design flaws since its October debut. The feds say they’re doing all they can to fix it.
