ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  Missouri voters could decide on not one but two tax initiatives next year.

The Jefferson City News Tribune reports next November’s ballot may include the possibility of a one-cent sales hike for transportation and a broad-based income tax cut. Supporters of the transportation tax have submitted the initiative and are raising money to gather signatures.

Supporters of the income tax cut are also pursuing an initiative after lawmakers failed to override a tax cut bill veto by Governor Nixon.
