FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL (KTVI)-- Forget about the sub-freezing temperatures.  Black Friday bargain hunters have started camping out.

"It`s a family tradition," said Rosanda Suggs.  The Washington Park, IL resident was camped outside the Fairview Heights Best Buy on Tuesday night.   Wind was blowing her tent side to side, but she wasn`t worried.  Bricks rested on top of the framing.

"It`s not that bad this year," said Suggs. "We`ve been here when it`s snowing and raining and all kinds of stuff."

Some shoppers stopped and took pictures of the tent with their smart phones.  We heard one shopper say, "They`re crazy."

Suggs and her family rotate to hold the 1st in line position.  They also keep a car on the parking lot so they can stay warm.  Suggs said a laptop, tablet, games and CD`s were all on the family`s Black Friday shopping list.

Tents were also spotted outside the Best Buy on St. Charles Rock Road in Bridgeton.
