Parkway Central students send gifts to teacher serving in Afghanistan

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Some Army soldiers will soon receive a special gift from students in Chesterfield. Parkway Central High School  students have collected dozens of boxes of food and other supplies.  One of their teachers is currently deployed in Afghanistan.

Captain Ben Silvermintz is the commander of the 561st movement control team. The boxes are headed to his unit.
